Martha holds a Bachelors degree in English from St Olaf College and an Associates degree in
Vascular Ultrasound. She has been through 6 major yoga trainings including Vinyasa training at Yoga Works in Burlington Vermont with David Swenson, Authentic Yoga 200 hour training with William Prottengeier, Yoga Workshop training with Richard Freeman and a 500 hour training in 2000 with Bikram Choudhury.
Martha has over 20 years of experience of studio ownership, teaching and mentoring more than 100 teachers. She has taught at more than 30 teacher trainings when Bikram hosted them as the Yoga college of India. She is a mom, wilderness guide, and a goat yoga teacher. She currently works for the North House Folk School teaching traditional Timberframe Carpentry and the University of Minnesota Medical school administering their Ultrasound program.
